Tito Francona may best be known for being the father of Cleveland Indians manager Terry Francona. However, the elder Francona carved out a solid 15-year career of his own, finishing with a career batting average of .272 and hitting 125 home runs. Tito’s career began in 1956 with the Baltimore Orioles and by 1969, Francona was in his third year with the Atlanta Braves.

This offered Atlanta Braves off-white home flannel with navy blue pinstripes button-down jersey was worn by Tito Francona during the 1969 season, where he ultimately split time between the Braves and the Oakland A’s. Francona played in 51 games for Atlanta and this jersey features “Braves” sewn on across the chest in cursive with navy blue tackle twill. The back of the jersey has Francona’s number “19” sewn on in navy blue tackle twill. The left sleeve has the “Screaming Brave” logo patch sewn on while the right sleeve has the MLB logo “100th ANNIVERSARY” patch sewn on, a highly desirable feature to have retained on these '69 National League jerseys. The Wilson size 42 tag is sewn on the bottom front left tail on the inside collar is the team patch that reads “Francona 1969-Set 2”. This jersey displays light use and comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
