Washington Capitals superstar Alexander Ovechkin was issued this jersey during the 2007-08 NHL regular season. Ovechkin was arguably the best player in hockey that season, scoring an NHL-high 65 goals and 112 points while winning the Hart Trophy, Ted Lindsay Award, Maurice Richard Trophy, and the Art Ross Trophy. Ovechkin, six times the NHL goals leader, has led the Russian National Hockey Team to three gold medals at the IIHF World Championships.

This white road jersey has a large Capitals logo patch sewn on the chest. Capitals eagle logo patches are sewn on each sleeve, and an alternate captain’s “A” patch is sewn on the chest. “OVECHKIN” is sewn across the back shoulders in red and blue tackle twill over a matching white nameplate below a reebok logo patch. Ovechkin’s number “8” is sewn on the back and each sleeve in red and blue tackle twill. The sleeves, sides, and tail of the jersey are accented with red and blue. An NHL logo patch is sewn on the collar, and a size “58” CCM flag is attached to the back inside collar. Ovechkin has signed the “8” on the back of the jersey in silver marker. This jersey comes with a joint LOA from the MeiGray Group and the Washington Capitals for the game-issued status, and a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (C99732) for the signature.
