Boston Red Sox Hall of Fame leftfielder Ted Williams has signed this replica Boston Red Sox home jersey. Williams, a two-time American League MVP and two-time Triple Crown winner, played for the Sox between 1939 and 1960. In 1941, Williams hit .406, the last time a player’s batting average surpassed the lofty .400 mark. Williams was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1966.
This jersey is white, with “RED SOX” sewn across the chest in red and navy blue felt. Williams’ number “9” is sewn on the back of the jersey in red and navy blue felt. “Williams” and “9” are embroidered on the front left tail of the jersey in navy blue. Williams has signed the right chest of this jersey in black marker. This item comes with a LOA from JSA (Z07027).
