The rare T213 Coupon cigarette series is hard to find, and even harder to get in anything above a 2, as evidenced by the POP reports of both PSA and SGC. Coupon Cigarettes issued this second of 3 series of cards in 1914. Using the same images as the T206 set on the fronts with the exception of the team and name being in blue versus brown for the T206. The backs have the "20 for 5 cents" saying. Type 2 coupons are the most common and where printed with a glossy finish making them easy to crack and crease.
We present one of the highest graded Ty Cobb's listed in pop report of either company coming in at an SCG 40 (VG 3)(only 4 cards graded higher then a 3 in SGC and PSA combined). Nice clean card with an atypical clean, stain free back. 60/40 centering and evenly rounded corners. A rare find, and even rarer still in this grade.
