Before he starred for the New York Yankees, Derek Jeter was a standout varsity athlete at Kalamazoo Central High School in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Jeter hit over .500 in each of his final three seasons of high school baseball, and today the K-Central Maroon Giants play on Derek Jeter Field. Jeter was selected by the Yankees with the sixth overall pick of the 1992 MLB Draft, and would go on to collect over 3,000 hits in the Major Leagues and cement his legacy as a sure-fire Hall of Famer. This button down, maroon jersey has a white tackle twill “KC” sewn on the left chest. “13” is sewn on the right chest and back in white tackle twill. Jeter wore “13” during his time at K-Central. He has signed the left chest area of this size “48” jersey in silver marker. This item comes with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A87204).
