Presented here are two New York Mets road jerseys worn during the 2012 MLB season. The first was worn by Scott Hairston on April 27^th, 2012, during the Mets 18-9 road defeat to the Colorado Rockies. Hairston hit for the cycle in the Mets losing effort, becoming the tenth Mets player in team history to achieve this milestone. Hairston finished the game 4-5, with four RBI and three runs scored. Hairston, a third-generation MLB player, hit 20 home runs, with 57 RBI and a .263 batting average. This gray, button down road jersey has “New York” and Hairston’s number “12” sewn on the chest in blue and orange tackle twill. “HAIRSTON” and a second “12” are sewn on the back of the jersey in blue and orange tackle twill. A MLB logo patch is sewn on the back outside collar of the jersey. A Mets 50^th Anniversary patch is sewn on the left sleeve, and a memorial patch for Hall of Fame catcher Gary Carter is sewn on the right sleeve. A Majestic size “46” tag is applied to the front left tail of the jersey, and a “12 46 ’12 S1” tag is sewn directly above it. This jersey comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (EK 045401).

The second jersey was worn by Mike Baxter during the Mets 6-2 road victory over the San Diego Padres on August 4^th. Baxter set a Mets record with five walks in this game, reaching base in every at bat and scoring one run. This gray, button down road jersey has “NEW YORK” and Baxter’s number “23” sewn on the chest in blue and orange tackle twill. “BAXTER” and a second “23” are sewn on the back of the jersey in blue and orange tackle twill. A MLB logo patch is sewn on the back outside collar of the jersey. A Mets 50^th Anniversary patch is sewn on the left sleeve, and a memorial patch for Hall of Fame catcher Gary Carter is sewn on the right sleeve.
