Offered are four game used bats from former New York Mets players Edgardo Alfonso, Jay Payton, Derek Bell and Vance Wilson. The first bat in this lot was used by third baseman Edgardo Alfonso. “Fonzie” was a member of the New York Mets from 1995 through 2002, hitting 120 home runs for the club. This Rawlings 456B model bat was used by Alfonso and displays excellent game use. There are several ball marks and stitch impressions present on the barrel. The model number “456B” is stamped on the knob and “FONZIE” is engraved on the barrel. Alfonso’s number “13” is hand written in black marker on both the knob and top barrel. Alfonso signed his name in blue marker on the barrel and inscribed "13". Alfonso's signature comes with a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (C99784).

The next bat in this lot was used by Jay Payton, who used this Tomcat TC Pro 34 model bat during the 1998-2001 seasons when he played for the New York Mets. This bat displays excellent use and has a large crack on the handle. The barrel has ball marks and stich impressions that are visible and the handle has been taped in a spiral pattern to enhance the grip, with part of the tape coming loose. Peyton’s number “44” is hand written in silver marker on the knob and top barrel, with “32.0” also written in silver on the cupped barrel end.

The next bat in this lot was used by outfielder Derek Bell during the 2000 season, his only season with the Mets. This bat displays excellent game use and is un-cracked. There are ball marks, white leather scuffs and bat rack streaks present on the barrel. Bell’s number “16” has been hand written in silver marker on the knob and top barrel and the outside of the number has been colored in with black marker. The final bat in this lot was used by catcher Vance Wilson. Wilson played for the Mets from 1999 through 2004 and this Louisville Slugger M110 model bat displays light game use. There are some ball marks and cleat imprints and Wilson’s number “3” has been hand written in black marker on the knob and top barrel. This bat comes with a LOA from Steiner Sports. This entire lot has been pre-certified by PSA/DNA for the game use.
