Tommy McCraw had a solid 13-year career with the Chicago White Sox, Washington Senators, California Angels and Cleveland Indians from 1963 - 1975. During the 1970 season, his last with the White Sox, McCraw wore this size 42 Wilson button-down Chicago White Sox home flannel jersey. This cream-colored jersey features the diagonal “SOX” logo sewn on in blue tackle twill on the upper left chest. McCraw’s number “6” is sewn on in blue tackle twill on the upper right chest. Blue piping runs around the collar and down both sides of the buttons, with blue and white piping capping off each sleeve end. The back of the jersey has “McCRAW” sewn on in blue tackle twill, which was professionally restored. The number “6” is sewn on the back of the jersey below the name and is original. There is a matching cream-colored patch sewn on the inside back collar with “McCraw” embroidered in blue with the Wilson tag sewn on the front left tail and “1970-2” embroidered in blue below the Wilson tag. The left sleeve had the memorial armband for pitcher Paul Edmondson removed and the jersey displays moderate wear. This jersey comes with a full LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
