Joe Girardi just finished a successful 10-year stint as manager for the New York Yankees where led them to a World Series title in 2009. Girardi had four successful seasons as a player for the Yankees between 1996 and 1999. In those four seasons, the Yankees won the World Series three times and Girardi’s big moment came in Game 6 of the 1996 World Series when he hit a triple off Greg Maddux to break open the scoring in the deciding and clinching game. This offered Louisville Slugger S318 model bat was used by Girardi during his playing days with the Yankees. This bat is un-cracked and has ball marks and stitch impressions present on the barrel. There is a light coating of Mota Stick on the lower handle. This bat comes with a LOA from Steiner Sports authenticating the use of the bat by Girardi.
