San Francisco Giants catcher Buster Posey wore this home jersey during Games 3 and 4 of the Giants 2016 National League Division Series matchup against the Chicago Cubs at AT&T Park. In Game 3, which took 13 innings to complete and saw the Giants emerge as 6-5 victors, Posey went 3-5 with an RBI and a run scored. Posey drove in the Giants first run of the game, knocking in Denard Span with an RBI single against Jake Arrieta in the bottom of the third. The scoreline was reversed in Game 4, with the eventual World Series champion Cubs winning the game 6-5 to end the series. Posey drove in another run in this game with a sacrifice fly in the first inning against John Lackey.

This cream-colored, button down home jersey has “GIANTS” sewn across the chest in black, orange, and gold tackle twill. Posey’s number “28” is sewn on the back of the jersey in black, orange, and gold tackle twill. A Giants logo patch is sewn on the left sleeve, and a vinyl “2016 Postseason” tag has been sewn on the right sleeve. Memorial patches for Monte Irvin and Jim Davenport are sewn on the right sleeve as well. A vinyl MLB logo patch is sewn on the back outside collar, and the sides and back tail of this jersey are made of a mesh fabric. A Majestic size “46” tag has been applied to the front left tail of this jersey. This item comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (JC 042247), which dates use to Games 3 and 4 of the NLDS.
