Presented here is a collection of three basketballs, each signed by a member of the Los Angeles Lakers in, or destined for, the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. The first ball, a Spalding orb with the stamped signature of Adam Silver, has been signed in silver marker by Hall of Fame point guard Ervin “Magic” Johnson. Johnson played 13 seasons in the NBA, all with the Lakers, and is widely regarded as one of the greatest passers of all time. His “Showtime” Lakers were the toast of the league in the 1980’s, and Johnson led them to five NBA titles. This basketball comes with a COA from JSA (WP58003).
The second basketball has been signed by Shaquille O’Neal in silver marker. The Hall of Fame big man, who won four NBA titles with the Lakers and Miami Heat, averaged an astonishing 23.7 points and 10.9 rebounds per game over his 19-season career. This basketball comes with a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (B89430). The final basketball has been signed by Kobe Bryant. A high-scoring shooting guard who will be elected to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame as soon as he is eligible, Bryant was one of the great stars of the early 21st century. Bryant has signed this ball in silver marker. This item comes with a COA from Panini (PA41636).
