Musial signed the sweet spot in blue pen, inscribing “HOF 69” beneath his signature. On the panel to the north of the sweet spot, Musial inscribed “6134 Total Bases / 10972 At Bats / 3026 Games / 1949 Runs / 1951 RBI’s / 3630 Hits”. On the panel to the south of the sweet spot, Musial inscribed “’The Man’ / 331 Career Avg / 7 NL Batting Titles / Batted 300+ 18 Times / 24 All Star Games”. On the sweet spot panel, Musial inscribed “1957 S.I. Sportsman of the Year / 725 Doubles / 177 Triples / 475 HR’s” and “1943 NL MVP / 1946 NL MVP / 1948 NL MVP / 1377 Extra Base Hits”.
