In his second season with the Detroit Tigers, Prince Fielder played in all 162 games where the big lefty hit 25 home runs, drove in 106 and maintained a solid .279 batting average. Fielder used this Hoosier PF01 model bat during the 2013 season. This bat displays heavy use and is un-cracked. There are several ball marks, stitch impressions, blue ink transfers and white leather scuffs present on the barrel. The handle is taped with a blue LizardSkins grip for enhancement and there is a mark on the handle that identifies the grain, which has been mandatory per Major League Baseball for all maple bats since 2009. The knob is taped on the end and Fielder’s number “28” is hand written in silver marker. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15263). Please note that the consignor did not want to purchase the grading on this bat. However, we can inform all potential bidders that this bat has been pre-certified as a GU 10 by PSA/DNA and if the winning bidder chooses to have this bat graded, it will be guaranteed to receive a GU 10 grade.
