Despite battling nagging injuries, Dustin Pedroia – the 2007 American League Rookie of the Year and 2008 AL MVP batted .293 with seven home runs and 63 RBI during the 2017. Pedroia helped lead Boston back to the playoffs, capping off a second straight American League Eastern Division title, holding off the upstart New York Yankees.
Pedroia used this Marucci DO34 model bat during the 2017 season. This all-black bat displays outstanding game use and is un-cracked. There are several ball marks, stitch impressions and white leather scuffs present on the barrel. The bat is smothered in pine tar from the handle all the way to the lower barrel. The barrel has a cupped end and Pedroia’s number “15” is stamped onto the knob. Also stamped onto the knob is the bat’s manufacture date “04/27/17”. This is a tremendous game used bats from one of baseball’s best players and it comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15230) and has been graded a perfect GU 10.
