2016 was a career season for Baltimore Orioles third baseman Manny Machado. Machado, already a two-time all-star heading into his fifth season in 2016, finished with career highs in home runs with 37, RBI with 96 and batting average at .294. Machado used this Rawlings MY13 model bat during his career-best 2016 season.
This bat displays heavy game use and in un-cracked. There are several ball marks, stitch impressions, blue ink transfers and cleat imprints present on the barrel. There is a heavy coating of pine tar on the upper handle/lower barrel and a light coating of Mota Stick on the lower handle. The knob has stamped “MM13” along with the bat’s date of manufacture “05/10/16” and “568-16”. Machado signed his name in black marker across the barrel and inscribed “G/U ‘16’. This bat comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (1B12193) for the game use and has been graded a perfect GU 10. There is also a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (C99699).
