Legendary outfielder Gary Sheffield wore this glove during the early period of the 2000’s. It was manufactured circa 2002, and used around this era. During that time, Sheffield was one of the best sluggers in baseball, making three All-Star teams from 2003 to 2005 and earning a Silver Slugger award in each of those seasons. Sheffield, a nine-time All-Star and the 1992 National League batting champion, played until 2009, and finished his career with 509 home runs.

This black leather glove is a Rawlings Pro-HFB model glove, though due to Sheffield’s sponsorship with Wilson the Rawlings tag on the wrist has been removed and the circular Rawlings logo on the outside of the thumb has been replaced with a Wilson logo. “Gary Sheffield” is embroidered in white on the outside of the thumb slot. Sheffield has signed the first post of the dual post H-web in silver marker, inscribing “Game Used” on the second post. This item comes with a PSA/DNA STICKER ONLY (Q59817) for the signature and a LOA from PSA/DNA (1G00411) for the game use.
