New York Mets pitcher Dwight Gooden wore this Spalding glove during the 1993 season, his 10th year with the Mets. Gooden started 29 games for the Mets, winning 12 decisions while throwing two shutouts and maintaining an excellent 3.45 ERA. Gooden would pitch until 2000, finishing his career with 194 victories, 2,293 strikeouts, and a 1996 no-hitter.

This blue leather glove features a basket web, and a Spalding tag sewn on the wrist. A circular Spalding logo is located on the thumb slot, and a silver Spalding wordmark appears on the middle finger slot. Gooden has signed the thumb of this glove in silver marker, inscribing “93” next to his signature. This glove, which shows light wear, comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1G00409) and a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (C99762) for the signature.
