Offered in this lot are four vintage New York Yankees flannel uniform pants worn by Stan Williams in 1963, Pedro Ramos in 1966, Dooley Womack in 1968 and Horace Clark in 1972.

The first set of pants were worn by pitcher Stan Williams in 1963. Williams pitched for the Yankees in 1963 and 1964, compiling a 10-13 record with a 3.43 ERA in 31 starts. These flannel pinstripe pants were manufactured by Spalding and have a waist size of 36. The Spalding tag is sewn on the inner right hip lining and the team strip tag is sewn on the inner lining on the back and reads “Williams 19 36 63”, which indicates the player, size and year of these pants. These pants display moderate wear with some fraying of the crotch area and have toned due to age.

The next set of pants is from Pedro Ramos, who wore these off-white pinstripe Spalding size 35 waist flannel pants during the 1966 season. Ramos’ last season with the Yankees was in 1966 and the right-handed pitcher compiled a 9-14 record with a 3.05 ERA during his time with the club (1964-1966). The Spalding tag is sewn on the inner right waist line and the team strip tag is sewn on the inner lining on the back and reads “Ramos 14 66 35 25 ½ ins”. There is also a separate flag attached to the team strip that reads “Set 1966”. These pants display moderate use with the fabric worn in the crotch area and have toned due to age.

The next set of pants were worn by Dooley Womack during the 1968 season. These off-white pinstripe flannel pants were manufactured by Wilson and are a waist size of 34. Womack pitched for three seasons with the Yankees (1966-1968 and compiled a 15-16 record, with a 2.70 ERA – mostly in relief. These pants have a very small 24-inch inseam, despite Womack’s 6’0” height. All of the tags are on the back center inner waist lining and include the Wilson size 34 tag, the “Wilson 1968 SET 1” tag and the team strip tag that reads “Womack 24 ins”. These pants display moderate use with toning due to age.

The final pair of pants in this lot were worn by infielder Horace Clark, who spent 10 of his 11 seasons with the Yankees. These size 32 ½ waist white flannel pinstripe pants were manufactured by Wilson and worn by Clarke during the 1972 season in which he batted .241 with three home runs and had 37 RBI. The Wilson tag and the team strip tag that reads “24”Clarke 20 72” are sewn on the right inner waist lining. These pants display moderate to heavy game use with some staining. There are also repairs from the inside leg and this was the last season in which flannels were worn by the Yankees. These game used pants come with individual LOAs from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
