Mike Piazza appeared in his 11th All-Star Game in 2004 when he represented the New York Mets for the National League. The American League won the game 9-4 thanks in part to a six-run first inning. Piazza had two plate appearances in the game without recording a hit. This size 50 Majestic jersey was worn by Hall of Famer Mike Piazza during the 2004 All-Star Game at Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas on July 13, 2004. This offered jersey has “Mets” scripted across the front, with his number “47” below, all sewn on in blue, orange and black tackle twill. There is blue piping that runs around the collar and down both sides of the buttons and an inch off the sleeve ends. The lower inside front tail has the Majestic Authentic tag inside with attached size “50” flag tag. The back of the jersey has “PIAZZA” across the back with the number “31” below, with all lettering in blue, orange and black tackle twill. The right shoulder features the “2004 Houston ALL*STAR GAME” patch and a stitched “Ya Gotta Believe TUG” phrase embroidered in black in memory of former Mets relief pitcher Tug McGraw, while the left shoulder has the Mets skyline patch and the Majestic logo embroidered in blue. Piazza signed his name in black marker below his number on the back of the jersey. This jersey displays light use with some staining and comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema for the game use. There is a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (C99756) and a STICKER ONLY from JSA (G56017) for his signature.
