NFL Hall of Famer Joe Namath tried out an acting career in Hollywood once he retired from the NFL. Namath even played a washed-up former NBA player now coaching a boys’ high school team in a very short-lived NBC-TV sitcom called “Waverly Place.” Namath signed in blue marker the cover of this original, first draft script from the show dated August 3, 1978. He added the inscription “Good Luck X12” referring to his old jersey number with the New York Jets. The item has been authenticated by PSA/DNA, label # U28017.
