Texas Rangers ace pitcher Cole Hamels wore this blue alternate home jersey during the Rangers 6-4 win over the Cincinnati Reds on June 22nd, 2016. Hamels tossed a gem, allowing one run over six innings and striking out six Reds. The 2008 World Series MVP earned the win, pushing his record for the season to a sterling 8-1. Hamels finished the season with a 15-5 record and a spot on the American League All-Star team. The former Phillies pitcher recorded a 3.32 ERA in 2016, along with 200 strikeouts in 200.2 innings.

This blue, button down jersey has “TEXAS” sewn across the chest in white, blue, and red tackle twill. “HAMELS” and his familiar number “35” are sewn on the back of the jersey in white, blue, and red tackle twill. A vinyl MLB logo patch is sewn on the back outside collar, and a Texas state flag patch is sewn on the left sleeve above a white Majestic logo. The sleeve openings are bordered with a white band, and the side and back tail of this jersey are made of a blue mesh fabric. A Majestic size “46” tag is applied to the front left tail of this jersey. This item comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (JB 799973).
