Boston Red Sox centerfielder Mookie Betts wore this blue alternate road jersey during the Red Sox game against the Toronto Blue Jays on May 8th, 2015. Betts was one of two Red Sox players to record a hit in this 7-0 loss at the Rogers Centre, singling against starter Aaron Sanchez in the top of the eighth inning. Betts finished the 2015 season, his first as a full-time starting player, with 18 home runs, 77 RBI, 21 stolen bases, and a healthy .291 batting average.
This navy blue jersey has “BOSTON” sewn across the chest in red and white tackle twill. “BETTS” and his number “50” are sewn on the back of the jersey in red and white tackle twill beneath a MLB logo patch. A white Majestic logo is sewn on the left sleeve, and a Majestic size “44” tag has been applied to the front left tail of the jersey. The underarm areas are made of a navy blue mesh fabric.
