Named to the 2002 National League All-Star squad for the second season in a row, Berkman didn’t disappoint, going 1 for 3 with 2 RBI and a stolen base during the game which controversially ended in a disappointing tie. The Louisville Slugger B364 bat he used during the game shows excellent use and has a cracked handle. There are many ball and stitch marks along with blue ink transfers. Light pine tar coats the handle. Berkman has signed the barrel and added his number “17” and “Game Used 2002 All Star game”. An ASI hologram is affixed to the barrel. PSA/DNA sticker number E36485 is on the knob and MEARS hologram number 312960 is on the barrel end. Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA who graded this bat a GU 8 and Letter of Opinion from MEARS who have graded the bat an A8.
