Growing up in the shadow of the “Big A” in Anaheim, California, Trumbo was selected by his hometown Angels in the 18th round of the 2004 Major League Baseball Draft. This bat dates from future Rookie of the Year’s stint in the Halo’s farm system, playing with the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes and Arkansas Travelers. The Max Bat model 191 is cracked and displays moderate usage. The barrel shows many blue ink transfers and ball marks with stitch impressions. Bat rack paint streaks can be seen and a light coat of pine tar is evident on the knob end of the handle. Trumbo has signed the barrel in bright blue marker between the MAX logo and model number. 2 PSA/DNA numbered stickers are affixed (U28078 to the barrel and 1B05342 to the cupped barrel end).
