Pro Bowl running back Jay Ajayi wore this Miami Dolphins home jersey on September 18th, 2016, the second game of his second season with the Fins. The Dolphins faced Jimmy Garrapolo and the New England Patriots in Foxboro, coming within a touchdown of the Patriots in a 31-24 loss to their divisional rivals. Ajayi was limited to five rushes for 14 yards, but he hauled in four Ryan Tannehill passes for a total of 31 receiving yards. Ajayi, a Pro Bowler in 2016, was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles midway through the 2017 campaign.
This white road jersey has Ajayi’s number “23” sewn on the chest, back, and shoulders in aqua blue, marine blue, and orange tackle twill. “AJAYI” is sewn across the back shoulders in aqua and marine blue tackle twill over a matching white nameplate. Dolphins logo patches and orange Nike swoosh patches are sewn on each sleeve. “DOLPHINS” is sewn across the chest in aqua blue and orange lettering below a vinyl NFL logo patch. “MIAMI” is embroidered in orange on the back inside collar of the jersey. A Nike size “38 LINE” tag is sewn on the back inside collar. A “2016” flag is attached to the tag, and “9-18 NE” is written on the tag in black marker. This jersey, which shows moderate wear, comes with a LOA from Jay Ajayi.
