Hall of Fame defensive back Rod Woodson wore this white Oakland Raiders road jersey during the 2002 regular season, as well as Super Bowl XXXVII. Woodson made the Pro Bowl in 2002 after recording an NFL-best eight interceptions, two of which he returned for touchdowns of 82 and 98 yards. Woodson is the NFL record holder for most interceptions returned for touchdowns, with 12 pick-sixes in his illustrious career. On the strength of their defense, which was anchored by Woodson’s tremendous play at free safety, the Raiders finished with an 11-5 regular season record and the AFC West crown. The Raiders handled the Jets and the Titans with ease in the playoffs, setting up a Super Bowl XXXVII matchup against former Raiders head coach Jon Gruden and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Woodson was all over the field in the Super Bowl, recording eight total tackles for a Raider defense that could not overcome quarterback Rich Gannon’s poor game under center in Oakland’s 48-21 loss.

This white Raiders road jersey has Woodson’s number 26 sewn on the chest, back, and shoulders in black and silver tackle twill. “R. WOODSON” is sewn across the back shoulders in black tackle twill over a matching white nameplate. His first initial is included due to the presence of his teammate, and likely future Hall of Fame compatriot, Charles Woodson. A Super Bowl XXXVII patch is sewn on the front left chest of this jersey, and a NFL Equipment logo is sewn on the collar. An “02-44” tag is sewn on the back inside collar. This jersey shows light to moderate wear, and comes with a LOA from Rod Woodson for use during the regular season and Super Bowl XXXVII.
