Messi wore this jersey during the December 18, 2011 FIFA World Cup Finals against Santos FC in Japan. Messi scored two goals as Barcelona won 4-0, the biggest final win in FIFA Club World Cup history. In recognition of his complete dominance on the field Messi won his second Golden Ball Award. The red and navy striped Nike Dri-Fit shirt has the Barcelona FC crest and "Qatar Foundation" in yellow across the chest. The left sleeve has a FIFA "My Game is Fair Play" screen printed patch and the right has 2011 Japan FIFA Club World Cup screen printed patch. The collar is trimmed in red. The back features "MESSI" and his number "10" in yellow. A small FCB logo is just below the collar and a UNICEF logo appears beneath the number in yellow. The shirt shows light match wear with no tears or loose threads. Nike Authentic tag sewn in the lower left front tail has serial number 022863035. Letter of Provenance from GMMI Group, specialists in Soccer and Olympic Memorabilia, who obtained it from the Argentina National Team kit man.
