Byron Buxton is one of the most exciting young stars in baseball today, a lightning-quick centerfielder with more range than the Hubble Telescope. Buxton had his breakout year in 2017, setting career highs in home runs, RBI, and batting while winning his first career Gold Glove Award for his defensive excellence. Included in this lot are three caps worn and signed by Buxton from his 2013 season, which he spent with the A Cedar Rapids Kernels, the A+ Fort Myers Miracle, and the Arizona Fall League Glendale Desert Dogs.

The first hat is from Buxton’s time with the Cedar Rapids Kernels. He signed the brim in black marker, inscribing “2013 Game Used” beneath his signature. On the underside of the brim, Buxton inscribed “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” and “Pray and Play / God First / Believe” in black marker. The second cap features the Minnesota Twins “M” logo on the front. Buxton has signed the brim in silver marker, inscribing “2013 Game Used” beneath his signature. The final hat features the Twins “TC” logo, and Buxton has signed the red brim in black marker. He added a “2013 Game Used” inscription beneath his signature. “Buxton” is written inside the cap in black marker. These items each come with individual COAs from SidsGraphs and photos of Buxton signing the items.
