Presented here is a pair of high-top Under Armour cleats that appear to have been worn by Minnesota Twins centerfielder Byron Buxton during the 2013 MiLB season. Buxton, one of the best defensive players in baseball, was the second overall pick in the 2012 MLB Draft. He played for the Cedar Rapids Kernels and Fort Myers Miracle in 2013, slashing an impressive .334/12/77 with 55 stolen bases across Class A and A+. Buxton first appeared in the Major Leagues in 2015, with his breakout year coming in 2017. Buxton hit 16 home runs in 2017 while claiming his first career Gold Glove Award for his effortless play in center field.
The offered cleats are high-top black and red Under Armour spikes. White Under Armour logos are applied to each side of the shoes and the heels. 13 rubber cleats are present on the soles of each shoe. Buxton has signed the toe of each cleat in black marker, inscribing “2013 Game Used” next to each signature. These cleats come with a COA from SidsGraphs for the signature and a photograph of Buxton signing the cleats.
