1999 was Canseco’s last great season in the majors. Batting .279 with 34 home runs and 95 RBI for the Devil Rays, the slugger was voted onto the American League All-Star team before his season, and effectively his career, ended prematurely due to a back injury. The Rawlings 456X bat is cracked and displays moderate game use. The barrel shows ball marks and blue ink transfers along with bat rack streaks and scuffs. The knob end has “34 Canseco” written in blue pen. Canseco has signed the barrel and added “Home Run #405 Gamer 99” in black marker. 2 PSA/DNA numbered stickers (1B05323 and U28102) are affixed to the barrel end. Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
