These creative paper antiques are unusual among 19th Century tobacco inserts in that each bears a genuine, cancelled postage stamp from an exotic country on its obverse. The stamps are complemented by detailed, color-litho artwork highlighting charming, period activities – including youngsters imploring smokers to hand over their N85 cards! This array is tough to find as a complete set. Grades mostly VG to VG/EX (balance is lesser mainly due to reverse-side faults).
