Special Mothers Day bat used by Royals’ first baseman Billy Butler during the May 9, 2010 game against the Rangers. The pink Phoenix B455M 34 bat shows heavy use with many blue ink ball transfers, scuffs and a moderate coat of pine tar on the upper handle. The bat has been signed by Butler with his number “16” on the barrel in black marker. Butlers number “16” has been written in black ink on both the knob and cupped end of the bat. MLB has authenticated the bat and affixed hologram sticker number LH 794154 to the barrel.
