The seasons this bat dates from saw Miguel Cabrera establish himself as one of the game’s most talented players. He finished second in the National League with 198 hits and his .323 average, 43 doubles, 116 RBI put him among the top of the leaders board and his 33 homers made him the youngest player in MLB history to have two back-to-back 30 home run seasons. The next year was almost a Xerox copy of 2005 as he finished with .339, 26 homers and 114 RBI. The Wilson SAM KM1 bat shows heavy use and is uncracked. The barrel exhibits many ball marks and stitch impressions on the barrel along with cleat marks and ink transfers. The handle has a moderate coat of Mota Stick. Player number “24” is written in the cupped end in black marker along with manufacturer specifications. Cabrera has signed the barrel in silver ink adding his number “24” and “GAME USED 06”. 2 PSA/DNA numbered stickers are affixed (U28094 to the barrel and 1B0549 to the barrel end). Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
