Kevin Love was a huge recruit out of Oregon, and was expected to go to University of Oregon where his father was an All-American basketball player. Instead, Love attended UCLA, bringing trouble from his hometown Oregonians, but more prestige at the old Wooden U. It was a good move as Love helped lead the Bruins back to the Final Four. Love transferred this success into the No. 5 pick in the next year’s NBA draft. This complete warm up outfit includes pullover and pants. The pullover has the “MINNESOTA” name across the chest with the “Adidas NBA” logo patch inside the collar with number “42” written in black marker. Attached is a “3XT” size tag. The front tail also has an “Adidas NBA size 3XT” logo patch with the Player ID “3XT” and year “09-10” written in black marker. The pants have the “Adidas NBA” logo patch with size “42” and year “09-10” written in black marker with attached “LENGTH +2” and “3XL2” size tags. The long time Minnesota Timberwolves equipment manager, Clayton Wilson, signed two LOAs, one for each piece, certifying these were worn by Love in the 2008-09 season, which is Love’s rookie year. However, the items have 09-10 written on the tags. We can only ascertain Love likely wore these items in both his first two seasons.
