Presented is a 24-card complete set of Topps football "Funny Rings" cards issued in 1966, plus checklist. The components of the 1966 Topps Football release that are arguably the most sought-after items in the production aren't, technically, "football" cards at all. Rather, it's the undeniably fascinating and inexplicably contrived Funny Rings die-cut inserts that have become the objects of enthusiasts' attention. The delicate cards' non-sports theme makes them difficult to find, and their inherent fragility has guaranteed a low rate of long-term survival. Grades 60% EX to EX/MT (including one nicer), 40% VG to VG/EX.
