Joe Willie Namath was one of football’s most popular quarterbacks who guaranteed a victory in Super Bowl III and promptly delivered a 16-7 win over Baltimore. Namath wore this green and white mesh Jets jersey (size L) in the early ‘70s. The official NFL Champion jersey has the No. 12 silk-screened in white on the front and back and in green on the sleeves. The Champions Product Inc. tag can be found on the bottom left side of the jersey and the original cotton crotch piece is still intact. Namath signed across the No. 2 on the jersey back: “Good luck! Joe Willie Namath X12.” Includes letter of provenance from original recipient and LOA from Grey Flannel. Both autograph and inscription are guaranteed authentic by PSA/DNA.
