After spending his first six seasons with the California Angels, first baseman Wally Joyner joined the Kansas City Royals starting in 1992. Joyner was issued this Louisville Slugger C243 model bat for the 1992 debut season with Kansas City. This bat does not display any game use and it is un-cracked. Joyner’s number “12” is hand written in black marker on the knob and Joyner signed his name in blue marker on the barrel with a lengthy inscription to teammate Keith Miller that reads “Millsy, To My BROKE-DICK PARTNER. I really enjoyed this year, DIE To our FRIENDSHIP-I BETTER SHUT-UP, I’m GETTING A HEAD-ACHE”. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15759) for the game issue and a COA from JSA (U56365).
