One of the only players entitled to wear the title of “The Natural”, no other player in the 1990’s was as exciting to watch as Seattle’s Ken Griffey, Jr. This Mariners jersey dates from the heart of Junior’s best years as a ballplayer. During the 1996 season he batted .303 with 49 homers, voted onto the AL All-Star team, won the Silver Slugger and Golden Glove Awards. It was a typically exceptional season for the future Hall of Famer and this jersey was at the center of it all. Junior’s home white jersey shows moderate game use. The front is piped in navy and has the “MARINERS” logo in teal, navy and silver tackle twill. Russell Athletic labeling is sewn to the right front tail with added “2” EXTRA LENGTH” and “1996” tagging added. The right sleeve features the round Seattle Mariners logo patch.
