JULY 19TH AUCTION
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 7/20/2013
On August, 9 2002 Barry Bonds launched a 421 foot homer off of Pirates right hander Kip Wells to join Babe Ruth, Hank Aaron, and Willie Mays as Major League Baseball’s only 600 home run club members. This Rideau Crusher Sam bat is the same model that Bonds used during his historic chase of home run records. Bonds signed 600 of these bats in silver, this one being hand numbered 418/600. Barry added the inscription “8-9-02 #600”. Despite all of the negativity surrounded him, nobody can argue that Bonds wasn’t one of the best hitters to ever play the game. Bat comes with a Bonds 600 HR hologram affixed to it, as well as a Bonds COA.
