Ted Williams was the purest hitter who ever lived, a sweet-swinging dynamo with 19 All-Star selections and two American League MVP awards to his name. His statistics border absurdity, as the Splendid Splinter’s on-base percentage of .482 and single-season batting average of .406 in 1941 has still to this day not been reached. Even though Williams spent three seasons of his prime serving in World War II and another season serving in Korea, the Boston left fielder finished his career with 521 home runs. Williams was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1966, his first year of eligibility. Williams signed the sweet spot of this Official American League Bobby Brown baseball in bold blue pen. Williams’ signature displays beautifully across the center of this white baseball, which has only minor stains not infringing upon the signature and the stampings still clear. This baseball comes with a STICKER ONLY from PSA/DNA (P04522).
