Hall of Famer Mike Piazza played in 68 games during the 2003 season with the New York Mets, where he batted .286 with 11 home runs and 34 RBI. Piazza wore this Majestic size 50 New York Mets white alternate home button-down jersey during the 2003 season. This jersey has “Mets” sewn on in blue, orange and black tackle twill script and Piazza’s “31” is sewn on the left center chest in the same color pattern. Blue piping runs around the collar and down both sides of the buttons, along with an inch off the sleeve ends. A Mets skyline logo patch is sewn on the left sleeve and, Piazza’s name and number are also sewn on the back of the jersey, along with the MLB logo that is sewn on at the base of the neck in Mets colors. This knit jersey has all of the Majestic manufacturer’s tags sewn on the inside front tail and customization tags that include 50” and “SET 5 2003”. Piazza signed his name on the back of the jersey in blue marker. This jersey shows light to moderate use with pulling marks on the upper right shoulder and chest protector wear on the front. This item comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema and a STICKER ONLY from JSA (G56012) for the signature.
