Offered here are four game used Official Major League Allan H. Selig baseballs used during New York Mets games in 2012 and 2013. Two of the baseballs were used during the Mets 6-5 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates on September 27th, 2012. This was R.A. Dickey’s 20th victory of the season. The first ball was used in the top of the second as Garrett Jones doubled against Dickey. This ball comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (EK 044768). The second ball was used in the top of the ninth for Alex Presley’s home run against Mets reliever Jon Rauch. This ball comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (EK 044783).
The third baseball was used during the Mets 16-5 victory over the Minnesota Twins on April 12th, 2013 at Target Field. This ball was pitched in the dirt to Lucas Duda by Pedro Hernandez in the top of the second and taken out of play. This ball comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (EK 397762). The final ball was used during the Mets game against the New York Yankees on May 28th, 2013 at Citi Field. David Wright hit this ball for an RBI single in the bottom of the ninth against future Hall of Fame closer Mariano Rivera, knotting the score at one all. Lucas Duda won the game in the next at-bat, singling Wright home to give the Mets a 2-1 victory. This ball comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (EK 490823).
