Offered in this lot are two bats used or made for former catcher J.C. Martin. This first bat is an Adirondack 194A model bat that was used by Martin during the 1961-1967 seasons when he was a member of the Chicago White Sox. Martin, in those seven seasons, combined for 23 home runs and 147 RBI. This bat displays excellent game use and is un-cracked. There are ball marks visible on the barrel, which also has some termite damage on the top barrel. There is a light coating of pine tar on the handle and Martin’s number “12” is hand written in black marker on the knob, which also has the model number “194A” stamped. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15721) for the game use. The final bat in this lot is an Adirondack 309D pro stock bat with the labeling period between 1961 and 1963. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B13117), who have deemed this bat a Pro Stock model.
