Nicknamed 'Pop', Adrian Anson had a career batting average of .334 and over 2,000 RBIs for his 27 year career. In 1881 he had 137 hits in 84 games with a .399 average.He was baseball's first superstar and founding member of the 3000 hit club.
This is the key card from one of the most popular 19th century card sets. Card shows even aging on front and back with rounded corners. The front of card has a nice, crease free, well centered appearance, and the back has some very light pencil markings.
