Offered in this lot are game used bats from Larry Woodall and Merrill “Pinky” May. Woodall played his entire career with the Detroit Tigers and used this Hillerich & Bradsby Pre-Model bat during the 1922-25 seasons. This bat displays heavy game use and has a crack on the handle. The left barrel has been sanded and planed to receive the factory side writing “John Bassler 4-25-26”. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15410) for the game use. May played his entire career with the Philadelphia Phillies and used this Hillerich & Bradsby Pre-Model bat during the 1942-43 seasons. This bat also displays heavy use and is un-cracked. There are ball marks, cleat marks and green bat rack streaks present on the barrel. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B12934) for the game use.
