Though best known as the Dodger who hit the Game 1 home run of Dennis Eckersley in the 1988 Series, Gibson started out his career with the Tigers. This bat dates from his first seasons in the majors when he was a hungry kid fighting for a spot in the Detroit outfield. Gibson’s 1980-1981 Louisville Slugger model M110 shows outstanding game use with multiple white ball scuffs, stitch impressions and cleat marks. The handle has been cracked and secured. The bat’s Hickory finish was taken on a beautiful dark patina making this bat extremely attractive. PSA/DNA sticker number 1B05321 is affixed to the barrel end. Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
