The New York Yankees were a dominant team during the 1950s and 1960s, earning eight World Series titles during that span. In 1960, Roger Maris landed with the team and soon cracked Babe Ruth’s longstanding single-season home run record of 60 by hitting 61 in 1961. This Tober-branded National League Horsehide Cover Baseball includes three signatures of Yankee superstars through the years: slugger Mickey Mantle on the Sweet Spot, accompanied by Maris and pitcher Whitey Ford. The signatures, in ballpoint blue ink, show slight fading. LOA by James Spence Authentication (JSA), label # B98872.
