The 1961 New York Yankees, managed by Ralph Houk, finished the regular season with a record of 109-53 before winning their 26th AL pennant and defeating the Cincinnati Reds in five games in the World Series. A total of 23 team members signed in ballpoint ink this official Spalding Yankees-stamped baseball including Hall of Famers Yogi Berra and Whitey Ford. Other notable signatures include Roger Maris, Tony Kubek and Clete Boyer. (Note: A Clubhouse signature of Mickey Mantle appears on the baseball.)
