After a nearly 25-year career in the Negro Leagues, the great Satchel Paige started pitching in 1948 for the Cleveland Indians. His final appearance in a major league game occurred in 1965 for the Kansas City Athletics. Paige signed this official Wilson horsehide cover Pony League baseball in black ink just above the Wilson stamp. Signature is very dark and bold.
