Great bat from Mike Trout’s first year in the majors. A minor league
phenom, the Angels called Trout up mid-summer where he became the
youngest player in the franchise’s history to hit 2 home runs in a game.
At the end of the season he was named Minor League Player of the Year
and set in motion a career that in less than a year’s time would see him
win the American League Rookie of the Year Award. The Old Hickory model J143 bat
shows excellent game use with several ball marks and stitch impressions
with blue ink transfers. Marks from a weighted donut can be seen.
Several cleat impressions are visible and the handle is moderately
coated with pine tar. Based on dating this bat appears to be from the 2011 fall league. PSA/DNA sticker number 1B05348 is affixed to the
